![]() ![]() You have the normal life hanging out at the Stray Sheep and the block tower climbing of Vincent's nightmares. Similar to a Persona game, this game has 2 different styles of gameplay that you alternate between. The Duality Of Blocks (Despite that not making much sense) Although it's not as visually stunning as the PS4 version, it's still perfect for portable gaming. Although by clicking to go on the home menu, the game takes a bit to react to that but other than that, this game runs good on Switch both docked and on handheld mode. ![]() On Nintendo Switch, the game runs pretty well. However, this game doesn't have the characters snap back into position and has animations that aren't reused over and over again, making it a lot more cinematic, which is what the intention of the original game in the first place. In the original, once an animation was done, the character would instantly snap back into position, similar to games from the PS2/Gamecube era. The story unfolds based upon you're choices that you make in the game (more on that a little later).Īs for presentation, the animations in this game are a lot better than the original game. Rin is definitely the nicest character in the game where the whole point is everybody is a jerk so Rin is kinda out of place but you can completely ignore Rin if you want and just play the original game and Rin does add new story endings so that's cool. Rin is character who has amnesia that Vincent meets while Rin is running away from a supposed stalker. The new addition to Full Body is a new character named Rin. I'm being kinda vague because this plot is crazy and I don't want to spoil it too much for people who haven't played the game yet. He tries to hide what he has done by lying his way out of wacky situations as he has to figure out which girl is right for him, all the while he keeps having the reoccurring nightmares of climbing large block towers. Feeling guilty for what he's done, Vincent decides to try to sweep this one under the rug and make sure this doesn't happen happens again. When he wakes up from a nightmare involving climbing up a block tower (which also happened the night before), he realizes that he brought Catherine to his place and officially cheated on Katherine if you catch my Tokyo drift. ![]() So while out one night drinking with the gang, he meets another woman named Catherine, you see it's different because there's a C in the name so it's all good, definitely not gonna get confusing. But similar to Weird Al and the Columbia Record Club, Vincent just isn't ready for that kind of commitment yet. He's been in an relationship with his girlfriend Katherine for 5 years but she wants to take the relationship to the next level and wants to get married. The game stars the mad lad known as Vincent Brooks. So without further ado, let's see what Catherine Full Body is all about, let's do this! ![]() But with the game's recent release on the Nintendo Switch (which is the version I'm playing in case you gamers were wondering), it's time I finally find out what's going on in the nightmares of a man with a fear of commitment. Catherine is often considered a cult classic among the Atlus faithful and just general people who played the game. However much like the Persona series, they rereleased the game but with a added character and some new additions to make the experience a better one and that's where Full Body comes into the picture on PS4 and the Vita at a time when nobody but like 3 people like me use the Vita (the Vita version was Japan only). Catherine was game released in 2011 on Xbox 360 and PS3 (it later got a Steam release too but that was like way later) and was developed by the same team behind the Persona series. That's right folks, you can talk about other Atlus games on this Amino so it's all good to talk about on this Amino.but just in case, you get angry at me, I'm gonna go hide in the local bunker, they now serve food and refreshments in case you were wondering. Hello everyone it is I crazy cartoon fan and this is something a little different than the average Persona review.mostly because it's not a Persona game. ![]()
